Cuddalore: On the 27th of May, Sagaya Madha Parish celebrated the Annual Feast in Cuddalore. The parishioners offered the Komba Arathi and lit the kuthuvilakku as a symbol of welcome. Most Rev. Singarayen DD, Emeritus Bishop of Salem, presided over the Holy Mass and preached the sermon. In his homily, Rev. Singarayen spoke of the Mercy of Mother Mary, which is always with us. Our parishioners animated the Liturgy. After the Mass, Rev. Singarayen blessed the car procession, which proceeded through the streets of the Samupillai Nagar. We had Adoration in thanksgiving for God’s blessings, and the ceremony concluded with the final blessing by the parish priest. Closing out the day, the Feast Cake was distributed to all the pilgrims. All the parishioners returned home grace-filled and joyous. “Continue to intercede for us, Our Lady of Perpetual Succour.”
